To whom it may concern,
Just trying to see if anyone knows of any good item drops that are better than what is available in the stores.
Seems like I've tried killing plenty of everything while playing pretty much nonstop this weekend and haven't found any drops that are any better than what I can buy (not to mention I've got all this gold saved up that I'll never use now). The best equipment I've seen drop is the alchemist robes from the mad alchemist in the crypt basement, but it's still not better than the store-bought gear. I haven't seen any other stores with gear better than what I have now. If I'm wrong, perhaps someone could point me in the right direction
The reason I ask is because right now it seems like there's a handful of NPC's I won't be able to kill because I can't obtain the equipment I need so I'm just leveling my butt off hoping that eventually my base stats will be high enough to actually let me deal some damage.

At one point in time (many years ago), the troll in the NE used to drop the tree trunk thing, with 200 max dmg. I tried farming him for a few days, but got nothing. I swore the hall master used to drop something too, but I have yet to see it... | |

Unfortunately I haven't had time to play to test any of this out lately (military career taking precedence).

In the new Sleepers Peak area:
Grizzled Warrior drops weapon Blood Stained Pike (225-240). Painful droprate, I killed near 2k...
Treasure Hunter armor Thieves Cloak (114-140). ~150 or so killed
Bobcat drops a pelt, no stats, worth 470 gold

There are plenty of different enemies with drops, and I added some that weren't there before to make the grinding a little more fun and less reliant on killing the same enemy forever | |

Thanks for the updates Shady. I also managed to find the behemoths, and it turns out I had leveled enough hp to fight them for their drops. With that equipment, I managed to beat the dragon and get his armor.
I'm on the lookout for a new weapon. I feel like the crypt boss might drop his weapon, but it takes me 100+ fp points to kill him, because I can only really deal dmg with crits. It's been 3005 days since my last post. Boy how time flies. I decided to give this game another go. So far so good. Simply farming the crypt boss for now, and so far the highest lvl magic user in game. Hoping for more content in the future! Hopping between this and TL for now.
