Considering the relative success of the No Techie round, I've been thinking of other ideas we can do ourselves to spice things up a little around here.
I'm not super creative, so at the moment all I've come up with are different stat challenges, such as having the highest amount of land at the end of the round, or having the most military or residential. I could even make it "most guerillas" or something.
If we ended up doing a round like this, I would need to know ahead of time everyone who wants to participate, and we would have to agree on some form of rules. The basic idea I have is that we would choose a cutoff point separate from end of the round so I would have sufficient time to check everybody's stats, and then the top 3 will receive a prize. If I participate it will just be for bragging rights, and the prize will go to the next person in line. | |

As a Mod, I can check the stats to confirm who has won a the contest, just as I confirmed that everyone removed their tech alliances. So here's how my idea would work.
1. Biggest Kingdom: 5 days before the end of the round, I would go through everyone's stats and log who had what and then after the end of the round I would release the results. That way it doesn't affect the end of the round and nobody gets ill-gotten gains.
2. Biggest Military: Regardless of if we are talking most units of military or most military researched, the base outline would be similar to above. A cutoff point would be agreed upon, and at that time I would check all participants. | |

XSquad and I were both pushing the same level of military, it's far from impossible. If we both hadn't been massed heavily by the ONEs, we could have easily pushed out some more military. I wasn't maxed out, and was only limited by my funds for the last 5-10 days of the round.
The true challenge will be to pass >470 | |
